A photo book of the “Shinkojuku Island” Munakata and Okinoshima and related heritage groups registered as a World Heritage Site in 2017 (2017).Okinoshima has been a national ritual for hundreds of years since ancient times.Ritual archeological sites such as Iwaza, many relics that remain on the island, as well as photos of the mysterious night view and stars of Okinoshima, which no one has taken so far.
Okinoshima is known as a World Heritage Site where ordinary people cannot land.Many photos carefully selected from 80,000 sacred treasures excavated from the island, which are all national treasures.

Photographer.Born in Tenma, Osaka City in 1943.Graduated from Japan Photo College.Established photo studio in 1967.From around 1980, he began his creative activities under the theme of Paris, France.In 1995, he received the Order of the Art and Culture “Chevalier” by the French government.From around 2010, he found the origin of Japanese nature worship in the sacred tree and Iwaza, and moved the shooting base to Japan.Studied with photographer Takeshi Nishikawa (This data was published at the time this book was published)
