Born in Shiga Prefecture in 1954.Photographer and cut -out writer.Hold an atelier in a rural landscape over Lake Biwa.It continues to express the coexistence between nature and people with the keywords of satoyama.He won numerous awards, including the 20th Kimura Ihei Photo Award, 28th Domon Ken Award, the 48th Mainichi Publishing Cultural Award, the 56th Shogakukan Child Publishing Culture Award, and the 42nd Sanke Children’s Publishing Cultural Awards.In recent years, he has been active as an environmental farmer, gardener, and satoyama environmental producer (this data was published at the time this book was published).
