Born in Oi Village, Saitama Prefecture (now Fujimino City) in 1949.After graduating from Nihon University’s Faculty of Agricultural Veterinary Medicine, he participated in the launch of the animal magazine Anima (Heibonsha).Since then, we have developed a unique photo world, mainly wild birds.Moved to Chitose, Hokkaido in 1980.For seven years since 1993, he produced video works overseas for the TV Asahi News Station special feature “Shimada’s wild moment” series.From 2000, NHK’s natural program was produced at Hi -Vision.Recently, I have also been shooting a digital camera, such as paradise birds overseas, mainly in Hokkaido, with a digital camera (this data was published at the time this book was published).
