An ultra -high -definition photo picture book made by expanding 40 species of insects 300 times and synthesized over 10,000 cuts.

Insects are the most familiar creatures for us and the most mysterious creatures.
It seems that it is unrelated to extinction due to its type and the large number of individuals, but as the creatures on the earth reached the sixth extinction, the venue of insects is being cut off.

This book is a joint project taken by a photographer Levon Bis, chosen 40 species of anesometric specimens held by the American Museum of Natural History, chosen for 40 types of insects that are extinct or crisis.Each specimen was expanded to 300 times that of the full -size size, and photos were clearly reproduced in detail, such as color, texture, hair, and scales that were invisible to the naked eye.
The commentary on all the insects in this book was translated and supervised by the popular insect scholar, Sonori Maruyama, which is proud of Japan.The problems and initiatives are summarized in an easy -to -understand manner, along with photos of overwhelmingly beautiful and powerful insects, such as ecology, environmental changes, the current state of conservation activities, and redlists.
