Introduction (from the publisher)
Memories of the journey that I walked on my own feet and saw it with my eyes
The latest photo book by Uruma Takezawa, an up -and -coming photographer.Mr. Takezawa has traveled in five continents in North America, South America, Antarctica, Africa, Eurasia, and 103 countries for less than three years, and has taken a huge number of photos of 350,000 points. This book is the one that selected 280 points and summarized it.The experience of traveling while feeling with the body, not traveling or tours, may be less in this era where information from around the world can be viewed on desktops. However, the author walks with his feet, and looks with his eyes, and the photographs are filled with the moment when humans are “alive”, meaning “living”, the meaning of “happiness”.It seems to be asking. The title “Walkabout” means “wandering” and means “journey as a passing ritual.”
[Recommended information from editing] With an overwhelming volume of 320 pages, Takezawa’s photos depict the real appearance of the world that is not reflected on TV and the Internet. For three years in my early 30s, what I saw through the camera, what I thought and traveled, and the postscript and photos captions are a must -see.Table of contents (from “BOOK” database)
