Born in Nara City, Nara Prefecture in 1905.Start a photo with a camera given by your eldest brother.In 1931 (Showa 6), a photo shop “Glokijisha” was opened in Osaka.In 1940 (Showa 15), “Spring Bunraku” won the first prize in the World Movement Photo Exhibition and worked as a photographer of Bunraku.In March 1945, he burned his home and store in the Osaka Great Raid and withdrawn to Nara.On November 17 of the same year, he witnessed a Buddha statue of Todaiji Horizaki, which returned from the evacuation destination, and heard rumors that he would be seized by the United States, and decided to record it in photos.Since then, he has been dedicated to shooting Buddha statues and traditional events in Nara Yamatoji.In his later years, he continued to take Nara Yamato Road for about half a century, such as working on “Manyohana”, and there were many photo books that captured the beauty of Yamato.He died at the age of 86 on January 16, 1992.In April of the same year, the Nara City Photographic Museum, which houses all the works of Yasukichi Irie, opened.The 24th Kikuchi Hiroshi Award, the 4th Congress Received, the 19th Buddhist Practice Cultural Award, etc. (This data was published at the time when this book was published).
