Hisako Shioda, who entered Kuwasawa Design Research Institute in 1960, studied under Yasuhiro Ishimoto and Kiyoji Otsuji, and graduated in 1963.By photographer Shigeo beef Shigeo (Kuwasawa Design Research Institute 1968) and Fusako Kodama, he became a photographer around 1975, deepening his friendship and stimulating.Later, my husband, Shingzo Shimao, was passing in a community with a common teacher called Otsuji for several years before meeting.In 1978, Shioda and Shimao get married and get married.

In the early 1979 of his daughter, Maho was born, the three moved to the historic Western -style building of Gotokuji, Tokyo, where he relocated the old house of Ozaki, Yukio Ozaki, who was said to be the god of constitutional politics.There is a room on the second floor like a box.In this rented house, there was no bath and the toilet was shared, and at first it was said that there was no refrigerator.Shioda, who became a mother and at the same time, begins with a busy and fulfilling day.Her husband, Shimao, was a different person as an expressionist and a family member, and in addition, he was taking pictures in the same narrow living space as Shioda.Because of such a record with such a person, it is a work that has a balance that is neither a strangile nor a satire, shows a human drama lurking in the background of the thing, and the characteristic coolness of Shioda’s work has been further refined.The first masterpiece “Refrigerator / ICE BOX” was born at this time, and Japan’s first commercial photo gallery “tour photo salon” (1978?), Mr. Ryuichi Hiraki and Ryuichi Kaneko (both photographer).The existence of the world is copied in the corner of the world captured by Shioda.In this book, Maho was composed for about 5 years since 1978, when Maho was born, and a set of BOOK 2, a 35mm snapshot of a 6×6 square format, synonymous with Shioda, is a set of her photos.It will be a valuable photo book remembered.
