This is the second collection of Yoshidanagi that keeps shooting ethnic minorities as a “hero”.
At the age of five, Yoshidanagi, a girl who was strongly fascinated by the Masai tribe on TV.
In 2009, he went to Africa alone, and then learned photos on his own.
So far, he has filmed and announced ethnic minorities around the world, including Africa, and has appeared in many media.
In 2017, he was selected as “Pen Creator Awards” in the “100 people creating the era” and “PEN” in the “Nikkei Business” magazine.
In the same year, he won the Kodansha Publishing Cultural Award “Photo Award”.
There are several works that Yoshidanagi had been shooting for a collection of works, but the shooting journey that had been stopped due to the corona was resumed.
In 2024, we will shoot many ethnic groups and announce new works.
